Open Host Co vs. doing it yourself
| Topic | Open Host Co (planned) | Doing it yourself |
|---|---|---|
| Who sets it up | We do it with you | You figure it out |
| Domain, email and website | One place, one bill | Often separate accounts |
| HTTPS security | Turned on for you | You install and renew it |
| Backups | Daily (Business and Pro plans) | Up to you to set up |
| Help | A real person, plain English | Forums and searching |
| Cost | Estimated monthly plan | Varies; your time too |
Doing it yourself works great for many people. This is just what we plan to take off your plate.
